Relocation Update
Everest Digital Is Relocating to France
Last Updated: 11 May, 2026
After spending time in 2025 living in France and managing work remotely, Everest Digital has made the decision to relocate to France long term and continue growing from abroad.
While Australia will absolutely remain Everest’s primary client base and priority, the move will also allow the business to expand internationally and work more broadly across European markets.
While this is a significant personal milestone, for Everest clients, it will remain very much business as usual.
Everest Digital will continue operating remotely with the same services, communication standards, support, and project delivery currently provided to clients across Australia.
We thank those clients for their continued support, and look forward to continuing to bring you the same level of outcomes you expect.
Below, we’ve outlined a small number of operational updates and FAQs relating to the transition.
-
For the majority of clients, there will be little to no noticeable change in day-to-day operations. Projects, communication, support, strategy, websites, SEO, and ongoing work will continue as normal.
-
There will be a short period of reduced availability between the 25th–27th of May while relocating, along with some intermittent downtime surrounding travel and transit.
That said, any urgent matters, pre-arranged work, launches, campaigns, or agreed project deliverables will still be attended to as required and as agreed to.
Everest Digital has intentionally structured the move to minimise disruption as much as possible, and clients will continue to be kept informed if anything time-sensitive arises during the transition.
-
Following the relocation, Everest Digital will no longer charge GST on invoices.
As Everest has historically quoted all pricing GST-inclusive, this means clients will see a reduction in invoice totals moving forward, including on any pre-approved or quoted work scheduled after the relocation date.
To clarify, GST will not be replaced by any additional international taxes or VAT charges for Australian clients at this time.
-
Invoices will continue to be issued through Xero as normal.
Clients may notice some additional wording on invoices moving forward due to international business and compliance requirements, however the invoicing process itself will otherwise remain unchanged.
-
At this stage, there are no planned changes to Everest Digital’s banking or payment processes. Clients can continue making payments as normal using existing payment methods and invoice details.
Should any banking or payment changes become necessary in future, these will be communicated clearly and ahead of time.
-
Clients will still be able to contact Everest Digital through existing communication channels, including email, Google Meet, and iMessage.
For phone or voice-based communication, clients are encouraged to use WhatsApp or arrange a Google Meet where needed.
-
Due to the time difference between France and Australia, response times may occasionally shift slightly outside traditional Australian business hours. However, Everest’s operating structure has been planned specifically to minimise disruption and maintain service quality.
In many cases, clients may also benefit from work being completed overnight Australian time.
-
Meetings will continue to be available across AEST business hours where required. Scheduling flexibility will remain available, with meeting times coordinated to suit client availability wherever possible.
-
Everest Digital understands that certain situations require immediate attention, particularly for websites, launches, campaigns, or time-sensitive business matters.
To support this transition, Everest has operational support available within the AEST zone if urgent assistance or local implementation is required.
-
Everest Digital’s core services, project approach, and support structure will remain unchanged. The primary operational difference clients will notice is the removal of GST from invoices.
Any future service changes, expansions, or operational updates will continue to be communicated transparently as the business evolves.
-
The relocation to France is intended to be a long-term move for Everest Digital and forms part of the business’s broader long-term direction and growth.
While Australia will continue to remain Everest’s primary client base, the move creates opportunities for the business to expand internationally, work more broadly across European markets, and continue building a flexible remote-first operating model.
Everest remains fully committed to supporting its Australian clients and continuing long-term relationships with the businesses it currently works alongside.
Thank You
Everest Digital sincerely appreciates the continued trust and support of its clients throughout this next chapter.
The ability to continue building, supporting, and growing businesses remotely - while pursuing a long-term international opportunity - is something that would not be possible without the ongoing support of wonderful clients and colleagues.
Everest looks forward to continuing that work from France.
